Galaxy by Simon Cattlin Astronomers have now discovered million's of galaxies in the observable universe and our own home galaxy is simply immense spanning many hundreds of light years and comprising billion's of star systems across the core and spiral arms. As landscapes go I think this is as panoramic as you can get. Every part of "Galaxy" is hand painted with much of the detail done with very fine brushes to build up the layers of light from the thousands of stars that are included within the original work. |
